Nepal cricket have announced a new sponsorship agreement with Nepal Telecom (NTC) to adorn the country’s cricket jerseys for the next three years. The deal is approximately worth $155,000 (USD) per year, over five times the size of the last sponsorship deal signed, which was worth around $30,000 per year.

Cricket in Nepal has grown enormously in the last decade and the team came very close to making it to the Super 10’s of the 2014 ICC World T20. In the qualifers, they beat Afghanistan and Hong Kong, but lost on NRR to Bangladesh.
