This is the new Scotland T20 World Cup jersey, the new strip for the Scottish national cricket team for the upcoming T20 World Cup in India and other international games in the 2016 season. Made by Canterbury, Scotland’s new 20-20 top was officially revealed on February 18, 2016.
For the T20 World Cup, the tournament logo comes to the front, with that of kit partners Canterbury moving to the sleeve. For regular games, the Canterbury logo will return to the front.
The new Scotland cricket jersey features the country’s famous tartan design on the body and the sleeves. The uniform features a shadow thistle design on the lower front, with a saltire on the back.
The team under the guidance of the captain Preston Mommsen will be hoping to make an impact in this world cup. They will be aiming to spring a few surprises despite their inexperience and lack of match winners in the squad and will have to get past Zimbabwe, Afghanistan and Hong Kong in qualifying to get to the main round of the tournament.
